Rebecca Murphy

I have over 25 years of experience as a bodywork practitioner. My background and training includes Massage, Therapeutic Bodywork, Connective Tissue Therapy, Healing, Facial Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I am also a qualified Body-Psychotherapist.

My journey with bodywork started when I developed Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) in my right arm. It was debilitating and prompted me to seek treatment that would support me to heal my condition. I quickly learned that the reason for the physical injury was not isolated to my arm, and that as well as receiving physical treatment I needed to heal the underlying cause.

My own healing journey has led to training in bodywork methods that support true health. The way I work embraces the whole person, always inviting deeper awareness and connection, and offers the potential for deep healing.

I work in a holistic way that embraces the whole person. Underneath physical tension, dis-ease and illness there is an energetic configuration that is contributing to it. My work offers a deepening of awareness in order to support the client to be empowered to heal. The modalities that I offer are physical bodywork modalities, and they can be received as such, but the focus is on the whole person and their emotional and mental health, and bringing awareness to the way they are living within their body.
